MCKINNEY, Texas – Following the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship Game Saturday afternoon, Valdosta State head coach Tremaine Jackson announced he as accepted the head coaching position at Division I and Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) member Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas.

The time has finally come to decide the 2024 Division II National Champion and it will once again be a matchup between Ferris State and Valdosta State. For the third time since 2018, the Bulldogs and Blazers will square off for the crown, this time at McKinney ISD Stadium in McKinney, Texas.

The Division II Football National Championship matchup is set. Ferris State (13-1) and Valdosta State (13-0) will meet each other for the third time in the national finals next Saturday.
