Valdsosta State fell from number-2 to number-14 after being upset by Virginia Union. Colorado Mines also fell, but remained in the poll in spite of an 0-2 record, after their loss to Angelo State.
Grand Valley took Valdosta State's spot at number-two and Angelo State jumped to number-four.
Lenoir-Rhyne, CSU-Puebloe, and California fell out of the poll and were replaced by Pittsburg State, Saginaw Valley, and Virginia Union.
