About the Rimington Award
The Rimington Award honors the top Center in all classifications of NCAA football and NAIA. The award winners in FCS, Divsion II, Division III and NAIA are determined by veteran football media member Jason Dannelly. The award is named after Dave Rimington who played Center at the University of Nebraska from 1979-1982. Rimington completed his collegiate career as one of the most decorated offensive linemen in college footbal history.
