NCAA Super Region One Rankings (Monday November 4, 2024):
#9 Charleston is currently ranked ahead of #3 Kutztown based upon current Strength of Schedule. If #3 Kutztown wins out, beating West Chester this week and # 17 California (PA) in the PSAC Championship Game next week, they should move up to the number one ranking in Super Region One. If #17 California (PA) wins out, beating Edinboro this week and #3 Kutztown in the PSAC Championship Game next week, they should move up to the number two ranking. #9 Charleston (WV) would maintain the number one spot in this scenario, if they win out, due to the fact that they are the only team that beat #17 California (PA) this season, 23-19, way back in Week Zero.
PSAC Power Ranking (PPR) heading into Week Ten:
The top four teams in the PSAC, those in this week’s NCAA Super Region One Ranking, have a combined record of 31-3 (.911 winning percentage). The three losses of those top four teams are all to teams in this week’s D2 Top 25 Poll and all those teams are on this week’s NCAA Super Region One Rankings list. As previously mentioned, #17 California (PA) lost to still undefeated #9 Charleston (WV) 23-19, #13 Slippery Rock lost to #17 California (PA) 28-7, and East Stroudsburg lost to still undefeated #3 Kutztown 27-21.
