Garrett had 11 tackles in a 24-17 win over MSU-Moorhead. Among those were 6.5 for a loss of 35 yards, including five sacks. He also forced three fumbles.

Dwinell averaged 52.2 yards per punt in a 31-14 win over Western New Mexico. He punted six times, hitting a 77-yarder and landing one inside the WNMU 20-yards line.
