Western Colorado never trailed in a 28-21 home playoff win over Central Washington. The Mountaineers scored first, took a 14-10 lead into the halftime break and bult that lead to 21-10 early in the second quarter. The Wilcats rallied with 11 fourth quarter points to make it a one score game but the Mountaineers defense closed the game with a turnover in the game's final minute. Drew Nash passed for 164 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed 127 yards and another score. The Mountaineers will now host Bemidji State who upset No. 3 seed Angelo State on Saturday.
