Mines Leads Division II With 13 Hampshire Society Members

IRVING, Texas - A division-best 13 Colorado School of Mines football student-athletes have earned membership to the National Football Foundation's Hampshire Honor Society for their outstanding career achievements.

Out of 212 recipients in NCAA Division II, the Orediggers' 13 marked the most by any program; Mines also tied for the national lead last year with a dozen honorees. Members are seniors who maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA and are starters or significant contributors for their programs. A record 2,532 players from 339 schools qualified for membership in 2025, marking the largest class in the program's 19-year history. Since its inception, the initiative has honored 20,946 student-athletes.
