A twenty point fourth quarter propelled Minnesota State to a dramatic come-from-behind road playoff win...for the second week in a row. The Mavericks managed to stay within striking distance all day and pulled into the lead with a pair of fouth quarter touchdowns tha thappend with a span of just three minutes. The Thundewolves briefly reclaimed the lead at 23-20 with 4:02 remaining, but the Mavs would tie it with a 40 yard field goal with only 60 seconds left in regulation. The game appeared headed for overtime but the Mavs' defense delivered with an interception in Thunderwolf territory inside the final minute of play. A fe wplays later, Matthew Jaeger hit the game-winning field goal from 32 yards out. The Mavs would have to survive a final kickoff, which was returned 59 yards before being stopped after the clock had run out. Full recap to follow.
