Offense

Yves Bosmans

Charleston

Charleston prevailed in a shootout with UNC Pembroke last weekend and receiver Yves Bosmans was responsible for most of  the aerial show. Bosman hauled in 10 catches for 182 yards. Four of his grabs resulted in touchdowns. Yves Bosmans is a junior from Fort Worth, Texas. 

Defense

Henry Schouten

Linebacker

Bentley

Bentley’s Henry Schouten was a playmaker all night in the Falcons’ 34-24 win over Northeast 10 rival Southern Connecticut State. Schouten accumulated 19 total tackles in the game with a tackle for loss and sack for a loss of 11 yards. He also forced a fumble that he recovered. His sack ended Southern Connecticut’s final drive, forcing a turnover on downs. Henry Schouten is a junior linebacker from Englewood, Florida. 

Special Teams

Joseph Carlson

Kicker

Midwestern State

Joseph Carlson set a new Midwestern State single game record with five made field goals in the Mustangs’ 36-15 win over Eastern New Mexico. Carlson converted on all five attempts from distances of 28, 31, 44, 48 and 26 yards. He also added three PATs to complete a perfect 8-for-8 in kicking attempts. HIs 18 total points scored is the highest in the Lone Star Conference game this year. Joseph Carlson is a senior from Frisco, Texas.
