California never trailed in an impressive 28-7 homecoming victory over visiting Slippery Rock. The Vulcans' defense held Slippery Rock to a total of 295 yards while posting 405 yards of their own. Davis Black was a tidy 16 for 26 for 250 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for a touchdown. Eric Willis hauled in 5 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. With the victory, California is now the only team unbeaten in PSAC West division play and in the drivers' seat for the divisional championship.
