Benedict College has hired veteran coach Ron Dickerson, Jr. to succeed Chennis Berry as the Tigers' head football coach. Berry departed for South Carolina State following the conclusion of the 2023 season. Dickerson most recently served on the offensive staff at teh University of West Florida. Dickerson has many years of collegiate coaching experience and was a head coach at Garder-Webb Univeristy from 2011-2012. He will take over a Benedict program that was won back-to-back SIAC championships with consecutive unbeaten seasons. Full story to follow.
